Ta-da! You now have that visitor’s information captured in your autoresponder system. You are now able to send them an email message whenever you want.
This is powerful because you can now let them know about deals or specials, as well as offer special insider information or ‘how-to’ kinds of help. Building this kind of relationship with your customers or potential customers via email is really powerful because, the more they like and trust you; the more likely they are to purchase items and services that you recommend.
What is also great about autoresponders as customer retention systems is that they are automated.
This means that you can: set up a series of messages (emails) that can be loaded into the software and can be sent to your email list at set intervals and send special announcements to your whole list quickly and easily.
You do the writing once, set them up in the autoresponder, and they get sent out automatically to everyone on your list and all those who sign up for your list in the future.
Do the work once, and that’s it! If there is special information that you’d like to let them know about once, then you can send a broadcast out to your whole list with just a few clicks.
